A window full of opportunity

Our mission is to empower and support young people with additional support needs to fulfil their life potential

Cantraybridge is a place of ambition.  We have a drive and energy to succeed in our belief that young people should be given the right to access continuing education beyond the school environment in an environment that is right for them.

We know that young people with learning disabilities want three things in life:

  • A job
  • A home of their own
  • A significant other

We know this because this is what they tell us. Yet, it is not so simple when the everyday, expected actions of young people generally are inhibited because of our complex social systems.

We are trying to make this simple by offering young people with learning disabilities the chance to:

  • Keep learning
  • Meet peers, friends, people in the community
  • Dream beyond the day-to-day reality of low expectations
