Cantraybridge is a place of ambition. We have a drive and energy to succeed in our belief that young people should be given the right to access continuing education beyond the school environment in an environment that is right for them.
We know that young people with learning disabilities want three things in life:
We know this because this is what they tell us. Yet, it is not so simple when the everyday, expected actions of young people generally are inhibited because of our complex social systems.
We are trying to make this simple by offering young people with learning disabilities the chance to:
Cantraybridge promotes the skills and talents of young people with disabilities. We champion the rights of young people by creating opportunities to learn and grow.
We support our students to develop skills equipping them for work. We empower our young people through a managed transition from college to enhance their employability.
We provide accommodation for 20 students attending College. Residents develop their independent living skills whilst they are here in preparation for living in a place of their own.
Our Social Enterprise includes Cantray Park Cafe and Venue Hire, our Market Garden and the visitor facilities at our Aviary department. We are open from Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm.
