Scottish Govt SDS Project

Cantraybridge is the lead partner in a Consortium of three organisations which make up Highland SDS Services; the others are Health & Happiness in the Highlands and People First Highland.  The service is funded by the Scottish Government as part of its ten year plan for the implementation of Self Directed Support; Scotland’s mainstream approach to Social Care.  The service also employs three SDS Peer Advisors; all are former students of the college who bring their lived experience to all the service delivers. People across Highland have access to third sector advice and training, good practice events and opportunities to share their experiences of SDS in order to increase others knowledge and understanding.
