Hazel joined Cantraybridge in November 2015 having had an extensive career as a senior manager in Banking, latterly in the HR department. She brings with her a wealth of experience in Leadership and management, developing people and in service improvement. Hazel has been instrumental in introducing several new systems to Cantraybridge that have improved the digital experience of staff and students alike.
Norma is our Enabling Team Manager and our Health and wellbeing advisor. Norma is based up at our college and has extensive knowledge of all the departments, Horticulture, Animal Care, Wood skills, Property maintenance and Catering.
Norma has worked at Cantraybridge for 15 years and brought with her a wealth of experience as a Learning Disability Nurse. Norma puts this experience to good use ensuring the best possible care and support packages are in place for all our client’s needs. Norma enjoys keeping fit and looks forward to holidaying abroad whenever she can.

Miriam joined Cantraybridge in 2017, as a fund raiser due to her enthusiasm for Cantraybridge and the success her son James, achieved as a student.
She was instrumental in raising funds for our children’s play area / minibus and other projects. Miriam became our Independent Living Manager in 2019, and was responsible for the care and support of 20 residents at Cantray Square and our property at Smithton.
Miriam successfully secured the role of Operations Manager at Cantraybridge May 2021. She has proactively introduced a new training programme for all staff and is managing the HR side of the business.
Miriam brings a wealth of experience of over twenty years, from her other senior roles within the health and social care sector.
Miriam is a keen musician and in her spare time enjoys playing golf and spending time with her grandchildren.
Lianne has worked in care for 20 years now, and is very passionate about providing the right support for people due to a number of family members needing support and experiences they have had during their lifetime. This brought Lianne to work in the care sector and hopefully have a positive impact on peoples lives. Lianne started at Cantraybridge in September 2023 as a Community Support Team Leader, then moved up to Community Support Manager in February 2024.
Lianne is from a large family, being the youngest of 6 children and now have 2 children. Family is a very important part of her life. Lianne is at her most relaxed spending time going for walks/outings with her family and enjoying spending time in their company and with the family dog Nala. Lianne enjoys Football, Grand Prix, cars, music, films and crocheting.
Catharine joined Cantraybridge in November 2023.
Having over 35 years accountancy experience, she brings with her a wealth of knowledge in implementing new and streamlining current accounting procedures.
Catharine’s goal is to be instrumental in introducing new accounting systems to Cantraybridge, that will help with the financial management of the college.
